¶ Archive
'Archive' is found in the 'Common' category of workflow nodes.
¶ What it does
Archive nodes are used as end points in a workflow. They are not stored in the state store service cache, but can be queried directly from the database. You should never include an Archive node on any boards, since it is likely that there will be a large number of jobs in this state.
Also see Dispose nodes if you want the job to be removed completely from the state store.
¶ Typical uses
Archive nodes are primarily intended to retain information about jobs that have been completed (and noted as completed) but their job cards should not be cluttering and confusing boards.
