The suggested minimum hardware requirements for a typical Busby install are:
Processor architecture must be x86_64.
In a production environment these specifications will vary depending on your own requirements.
We would also recommend at least 256GB for most use cases.
There is no technical or licensing reason that Busby cannot run on physical rather than virtual machines and some of our customers do this for transcoding or re-wrapping; where you need to get all the processing power from the host machine that you can.
Please note that if you are installing on Amazon EC2, it is not supported to use T type instances, due to the way CPU credits are allocated.
